let me start by saying i am sepultura fan since 1989, max and crew have made some of the most incredible metal albums ever assembled. after roots, neither sepultura nor soulfly could capture my attention in the same way. how on earth anyone could enjoy listening to this is beyond me. its sad watching my old favorite musicians decline.
The more I listen the more I like it.
Max’s vocals are shot , more electronic keyboard guitar from Mark, plus the whole album will be another vamp album. No content nowadays. Same old sounding garbage. Love Max, but this isn’t it.
This has instatly become my favorite Soulfly record. Thank you Max & SOULFLY!!!! 🤘🏻
This album blew my expectations out of the water. Riffs sound great through out the album even in the instrumental track at the end. The singer sounded great also. Love that Randy Blythe was featured on the record. He fit perfectly in Dead Behind the Eyes. Probably one of my favorite albums of the year.
All y’all bad review guys. What do y’all want them to do a load or reload album. Max killing it and listen to the lyrics. And a lot of the solos are some of the best on a Soulfly album. Go back to listening to Disturbed or something if y’all don’t like real metal!
Max is amazing
This for me is my Soulfly "Fan" album. My neck was broke after track 5, and then Demonized hit. I was like ....what do i do....what do i do.....i just started running into walls it was great. Good times, thank you Soulfly!
Surpassed My Expectations
His might be my favorite Soulfly record yet. Every song is a banger. Super groove driven heavy metal. I dig it.
A Return to the Soulfly sound
After listening to the majority of the album, it sounds a lot like the earlier years in terms of vocals and song structure. The song Feedback is a nice change of pace for Soulfly by throwing in some bluesy licks but still keeping it as metal as possible.
By I AM RHYTHM
This album is great! The song Demonized is such a powerful track and a brutal track!!!! Max is unleashing his full primal power here! There are elements to this album that draws upon the Morbid Vision days of Sepultura!
